Luanvi and the Half Marathon create a T-shirt designed to fly in Valencia

26 June, 2024

The Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich and Luanvi, the race’s technical partner, have today presented the official T-shirt of the 2024 race to celebrate ten years of their collaboration (2014-2024) and which has a striking design created to make runners feel as if they are flying in the world’s fastest 21K.

In a ceremony held at the ‘La Mare Que Va’ centre, managed by this year’s race charity Asindown, which also provided some of its members as models for the presentation, the secret most eagerly awaited by the 25,000 participants in the Valencia 2024 Half Marathon was revealed, a T-shirt that this year bears the race’s slogan ‘Flying is Your Destiny’ on its chest.

The official technical T-shirt of the Valencia Half Marathon has a cloud print design and is once again available for runners to choose from a short-sleeved or tank top version, with both male and female models available. The fabric is a breathable and highly elastic mesh woven from multifilaments incorporating Cool-Skin technology, which dries sweat quickly and prevents the build-up of moisture. It is very light (the size L T-shirt weighs 86 grams) and finished with flatlock seams to minimize chafing on the skin.

Luanvi’s president, Vicente Tarancón, expressed his pleasure at celebrating 10 years as technical sponsor of the fastest half marathon on the planet. These 10 years of collaboration have flown by, and never better said, as demonstrated by the new slogan on this year’s t-shirt. During all this time, Luanvi has always tried to offer the best quality and technical innovation on the market so that each and every one of the runners who have chosen Valencia to fulfil their dreams, can do so in the greatest possible comfort, added Tarancon.

For his part, Paco Borao, president of SD Correcaminos, organiser of the races together with Valencia City Council, said he was equally happy with this long collaboration and emphasised how every year they work to create a different T-shirt capable of surprising and pleasing runners, which, he said “is very complicated because it’s been many years and the bar has been set very high“.
