From the world to the Valencia Marathon: presenting the official 2024 New Balance T-shirt
The Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich and New Balance have presented the official 2024 T-shirt that everyone registered to run in the marathon on 1 December will receive in their goodie bag, a design inspired by the slogan of this year’s race: “All races lead to Valencia”, in reference to the event that everyone wants to be at the end of every year.
In keeping with last year, the organisers and New Balance wanted participants to be the first to discover the T-shirt and, hours before its public launch, sent some of its most active runners/followers on social media a private message exclusively unveiling the T-shirt to them.
The official 2024 T-shirt is navy blue with a pattern of arrows in a different shade of blue and in yellow a big ‘Valencia Marathon’, which is something the runners call for year after year. In addition, the back of the vest also features in yellow the ‘V’ representing the race logo, together with 42K and the legend ‘The Race to be in’.
The garment is made from NB DRY technology fabric, which ensures quick drying by wicking away the moisture produced by perspiration, providing a feeling of comfort when exercising. In addition, it is once again available in a women’s and men’s version and as a short-sleeved or tank top design, runners can choose the style they want from the self-management area of the Valencia Marathon website.
‘’Each year becomes more complicated to create the T-shirt, from the choice of colour, so as not to repeat previous years, to the design; luckily we have a great partner in New Balance and we understand each other perfectly‘’, explains Paco Borao, who emphasises that this year ‘’we have opted for an elegant design that looks great on everyone‘’.
For his part, Daniel Scheidgen, Marketing Director of New Balance Iberia, explained that for them “it is a fascinating challenge to produce a T-shirt every year that is up to the standards of one of the best marathons in the world. The result is the fruit of months of joint work between the marathon and New Balance design teams”.
Valencia Marathon capsule collection
As in the previous two years, New Balance has created a capsule of exclusive clothing for the Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich that will be available in a series of selected establishments, known as “Oficial Marathon Dealers”. This collection of top quality running apparel can also be purchased at the brand’s stand at ExpoDeporte Valencia, the race’s trade fair.
