The Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich 2024 in numbers

On 22 October, the Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich will bring together 25,000 registered runners, 3,000 more than in 2023, with the aim of achieving its best “flight” yet, but this will not be the event’s only big number. We highlight some more of them below:

  • 25,000 participants, of which:
    • 18% are running a half marathon for the first time and 47% are running this distance for the first time in Valencia
    • 10,530 are SuperRunners registered in the SuperHalfs circuit
    • 6,278 are registered n the Plátano de Canarias National Running Circuit
    • 905 are falleros or falleras competing in the Running Fallero competition
  • 23,628 euros have been voluntarily donated by runners to the race’s charity, Fundación Asindown.
  • 79,838 emails will have been sent with the Objective 21K Valencia training plans over a period of 11 weeks
  • 1,500 volunteers
  • 6 people dedicated to the Runner Support service, 365 days a year
  • 66,000 litres of AquaBona water
  • 26,000 litres of Aquarius
  • 25,000 Enervit gels
  • 369,000 gifts to be given to the participants in the goodie bag and the post finish bag
  • 31,908 Luanvi garments (including race T-shirts and clothes for the organisers, volunteers, doctors running the race and MSC pacers)
  • At the event:
    • 13,451 linear metres of fencing
    • 400 linear metres of New Jersey barriers
    • 375 portable toilets
    • 280 recycling containers
    • 26 ambulances
    • 40 defibrillators
    • 42 doctors of which: 25 will run in the race
  • 62 stands at Expo 21K Feria Valencia
  • 63 cheering points along the route
