Valencia Half Marathon exceeds 4,100 registrations half a year before the event
EDP Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Half Marathon continues the race to the 22nd October 2017 in which it will likely reach a new record of registrations. The race organized by the SD Correcaminos has already 4,170 registrations half a year before the event.
This means 40% more than last year around this date and the confirmation of having the city of running as the favourite destination for many of the long distance runners.
The census of registered runners is divided into 77% of registered in the Valencian Community, 13% coming from the rest of Spain and 10% of foreigners. These percentages show registrations of 25% of women and 75% of men, which will shorten distances as the dates approach, increasing the number of female runners who each year join the fastest marathon on Spanish ground.

Furthermore, in order to reward the loyalty of many runners who choose to run the Valencia Half Marathon each October, the organization has decided to reward all the registered ones with a discount of €10 for registering in the IAAF World Half Marathon Championship that will be held in València on the 24th March 2018 and have the opportunity of living such unique and unrepeatable experience in a new circuit.
