Valencia Marathon Photo competition announces winners and opens photo exhibit at La Rambleta theatre
The Valencia Photo Marathon was a fantastic opportunity for runners and fans to show their creative side by taking photos of the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon, the city, the spectators, its runners and all the emotion and spectacle that the race encompasses. On the 3rd of December, the finalists of the Photo Marathon were announced; on the 11th of February, at the Rambleta, the winners will be announced, and the 30 finalist photos will be exhibited for the public.
The winner of the competition is Aníbal Cáceres, second place goes to Víctor Pastor, and the third place is awarded to Eduardo Finch. Santiago Gómez finished in fourth position.
On Thursday the 11th of February at 20:00, the exhibition will open its doors and the Rambleta will be full of runners, dignitaries and marathon fans to see which images were chosen to best represent the race, organized by SD Correcaminos and the Valencia Government. This is the first time the Photo Marathon, in its 5th year, will be exhibited at the Rambleta.
At the ceremony and exhibition, prizes will be awarded to the winners of this year’s competition. Alongside this year’s 30 finalists, the winners of the past 4 year’s competitions will also be displayed.
