Do you want to participate in Rock&Run?

The Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon will have its own original soundtrack over the whole Expodeporte sports-exhibit weekend. The qualifying rounds for the selection of groups that will play at Rock & Run, sponsored by Amstel, have already started. The activity will, once again, offer a sound atmosphere and make the event lively and fun for the runners and visitors at the Runner’s fair. The performances will be used to charge the runner’s batteries and to enliven the grounds over the two days before the event.

The groups that perform will sing to the more than 65,000 people who will pass through the Expodeporte fair over the weekend, and so represents a great opportunity for them to become known in the local, national, and internacional scene in an event like the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon, which has been awarded the silver label by the International Athletics Fereration (Federación Internacional de Atletismo or IAAF).

Several Valencian music groups have played at the Valencia Expodeporte over the years. All of their performances, in the area surrounding the Museo Principe Felipe in the City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias), have attracted the attention of runners from all over the world and by music lovers at the Runner’s fair.

To be able to play at the next Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon you only have to send an entry, along with an original song, to info@valenciaciudaddelrunning.com for your group to be entered into the selection process for Rock&Run and to have the chance of playing at the best marathon in Spain. The closing date for entries is 30 October.
