Winners of the Valencia Shopping Run window dressing contest

A new promotion for this year was the ‘Valencia Shopping Run’ contest. Businesses and shops in the old town were invited to dress their windows and decorate their premises around the theme of running and the marathon. More than 30 local businesses entered the competition. From the 4-11^th of November the public was invited to vote on the facebook page of the Commercial association of the old town (El Carmen).

The winners:

1^st Prize: DODO Wear                         1,000€

2^nd Prize: Evasion Running                      600€

3^rd Prize: Farmacia Ribera                      300€

The promotion was run in collaboration with the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon and the commercial association of the old town. The old town is a great place to find kooky independent shops that support local trade, and the local economy.

For all the people that voted on facebook for the best decorated shops, there will be a prize draw for a 100€ voucher to be spent in the winning shops.
